When puppies play they mouth one another, if one puppy bites too hard the other will yelp and stop playing. GAMES OVER. this teaches dogs not to bite too hard.
When
a puppy plays with you or your children it may bite too hard too.
YOU MUST STOP THIS IMMEDIATELY
Do not play tug-o-war with a puppy especially a large puppy as it will always win, and you have to open its mouth to remove the rope.
When
the dog wins it is on the way to CONTROLLING
you.
Indoor dogs should learn to STAY in their basket.
They should not be afraid of things like:

DO
NOT REWARD IT

NOT CUDDLE A FEARFUL PUPPY

this will encourage it to behave timidly and it will appear to lose confidence
and demand attention when it appears afraid of the most ridiculous things.
